Praise is defined as: "Bragging, or boasting; holding in high esteem; honoring and adoring."

Someone once wrote: "How greatly we need a school to teach the power of praise!

Yet seasoned soldiers, in this world's armed forces, frequently brag, or boast, about their military commanders or leaders.

Even though it is more fiction than fact, genuine boasting (praising) can only be produced as a result of 'knowing' someone, on a personal level.
